Natalie has a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the University of Melbourne in Australia, a Masters Degree in Classical Music from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and is currently completing a Masters in Professional Practice (Voice Pedagogy) through the University of WalesTrinity Saint David. She was a member of the Young Artist Program at the Victoria State Opera before continuing her studies under Prof. Janice Chapman in London.
Janice has been Natalie's principal teacher and mentor for over 20 years and her teaching methods are greatly influenced by this association.
Natalie is an Associate Teacher in Classical Voice at Monash University and Firbank Grammar School. Her teaching is based on a sound knowledge and understanding of physiology, anatomy, acoustics and vocal function.
In your lessons, you can expect to cover all aspects of vocal development including primal sound, breathing & support, postural alignment, phonation, resonance, articulation, artistry and performance.
The direction, content and pace of your lessons will be specifically tailored to your individual needs with a view to reaching both your short and long term goals.
Through targeted vocal exercises and appropriate repertoire you will establish an efficient, secure technique.
You will learn to ‘play’ your instrument and uncover your true signature sound.
A solid vocal technique will provide you with the artistic freedom to communicate with your audience at the bidding of your imagination.

Natalie is committed to her own professional development and regularly attends specialist vocal pedagogy courses and conventions in order to keep abreast of the latest research and teaching innovations.
She attended Janice Chapman’s Training in Classical Voice Course at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London in 2016 & 2017 as well as 2018 at Chethams School of Music in Manchester. She has completed a Complete Course in Estill Model Levels 1 & 2 in Cardiff and was a delegate at the 2017 ICVT (International Congress of Vocal Teaching) in Stockholm.
Natalie is an Accredited Kindermusik International early childhood educator and is a member of Svenska Sång- och Talpedagogförbundet, SSTPF, internationally known as VoTS (Voice Teachers of Sweden).
